Speedy’s Business Development division has continued to solidify its longstanding customer connections. The entire Sales and Estimating department along with Darlene Quinones, head of Business Development have been seen at numerous networking events and have been fortunate to partner with Alex Labarr from Xandra Marketing to drive our Business into 2020 and the next decade! Speedy Concrete Cutting’s approach to doing business has always stemmed from meaningful connections and adding value in the community and in the industry. Constantly connecting with key people that are making a big difference is part of what sets Speedy and our people apart. Recently, Darlene Quinones, Biz Dev. attended the NAWIC (National Association of Woman In Construction) lunch ‘n learn hosted by Miller Construction. After connecting with VP of Business Development/Shareholder, Traci Miller, Speedy invited her for another meeting to discuss the future of Business Development and hear from Ms. Miller on how she maintains strong business relationship and believes in community involvement as part of that equation. It was a great opportunity to speak with her and draw from her experience as a successful Woman in Construction. Thank you Traci! In November, Speedy Concrete was invited to Whiting Turner’s office in Fort Lauderdale to share an in depth look at the concrete sawing and drilling services Speedy has offered for over 30 years. In attendance where fifteen of Whiting Turner’s project managers. To drive home how expansive Speedy’s services are, Notable Projects such as The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino were high-lighted. We said farewell to 2019 in style at the last luncheon of the year with the Latin Builders Association at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The event boasted some amazing and talented guests. Darlene Quinones had the pleasure of meeting keynote speaker Alfonso Costa (Deputy Chief of Staff for HUD) & David Loines (Director of Government Contracting for the SBA – Small Business Administration) to learn more about working on Federally funded “Government” projects. Speedy had the pleasure of tabling at the NAWIC/Bluebook Holiday Soiree. This season has allowed Speedy’s team to have a lot of fun while joining clients and partners at their events. We want to give a special Thank You to our customer Unitech Builders for inviting The Speedy Concrete Cutting Sales and Marketing team to their holiday party!
