The New Year is upon us, and it’s time to get back to work!! It has started a bit slow here in 2016, but things are getting better. We continue to work on our staple, go to large projects, with Otis F. and Cameron J. working for John Moriarty, at the SLS building, on a daily basis for the past 4 months. We also have Cary C., Coy A., Mike C. and our trainee Alaim C., working out on the Brickell City Center job site, for Americaribe-Moriarty, JV, as well as RCC, Fly & Form, and several other contractors. We have Jermaine H., Lavelle W, Jason F. and Mike W. working out at the Sinai Residences job site for Suffolk, doing everything from Core drilling to Track sawing. We have Mat S., Joe S. and John A. starting back at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, Terminal 1 remodel job, for Central Florida Equipment. So with our larger projects starting to gear back up, we have turned our Sales focus onto getting our service work back on track. As we all know service work has been our bread and butter, since Speedy opened its doors!! The way the past year went, with all the large projects taking up a majority of our work load, and operators, we had a tough time getting to a lot of our smaller jobs and companies, which is not good for us. So, I am determined to get out there, into our customers offices and in front of every Owner, CEO and Purchasing Agent, I can possibly get to, in the very near future, to get us back on track with keeping our service work a top priority!! Our sales team is also going to incorporate more office visits, into their weekly battle plan, so we can get in front of as many potential and current customers, who we have not worked for in the near and distant past. Service Work, is the life blood of Speedy and we need to make this priority, so we can continue to prosper and grow in the New Year!!! Until next month, keep the blades spinning!!!! #homefront #newsworthy
