Sunshine State Plumbing is a new customer to Speedy Concrete Cutting of Jacksonville. There are several other projects that we are on that do stand out, but we give Sunshine State Plumbing the edge. Sunshine Plumbing was awarded the plumbing contract for the 10- story building in Riverside area of Jacksonville named “Vista Brooklyn”. At 200 Riverside Ave. Jacksonville Fl. Vista Brooklyn is a Apartment / Retail mixed use building with over 307 rental units and 31,000 square feet of amenity space. This project consists of Approx. 5000 core holes in both slab and wall, with cores from 2”-6” diameter in 10” thick hollow core slab (plank). Speedy was not the lowest bidder on the project and so it was originally awarded to another company. After two weeks on the job the phone call came in, the incumbent cutting company could not meet the demand of the customer. With the fast response and needed manpower we were able to exceed the customers expectations and keep the project on track. This job was led by our master core driller Timothy Speeks along side Josh Tindall and trainees Melvin Wright and Richard Francis. We made such an impression that all the other trades now see it fit to give all their work to Speedy. Sunshine State Plumbing has given us the opportunity to show all the Contractors here in Jacksonville that no job is too small or too large for Speedy Concrete Cutting. This project is valued at $150,000 in core drilling alone. We are now situated with Sunshine State Plumbing to be their company of choice for all their concrete cutting and coring needs.
